Cheddar GorgeThe apartments are within easy walking distance of shops, swimming pool, and leisure centre, the stunning Cheddar Gorge and Caves. The bus stop is only a few paces away. The Mendip Hills offer open countryside and great views for walkers and those wishing to walk along the Mendip Way to Wells or Weston-Super-Mare.

Alternatively you can explore by bicycle in unspoiled surroundings. There are beautiful local drives and Cheddar is a good centre for excursions by car to the South West and even the South Coas
t. Explore the Somerset Levels with their 6000 year history and their present fauna and flora, plus the many attractions of the West Country.

HOW TO GET HERE

The apartments can be found on the A371 next to the Market Cross in the centre of the village.

Travelling from the north, M5; or London M4 on to M5;

Take Weston-Super-Mare Junction, 21. Proceed towards Weston, turn left at next roundabout to Banwell, then turn left on A371. Follow signs to Cheddar (8 miles) or alternatively for larger vehicles use Junction 22.

Travelling from the south;

Take the Weston-Super-Mare/Burnham-on-Sea Junction, 22. Take the A38 towards Bristol for 7 miles, at Cross turn right and follow signs for Cheddar (3 further miles) to village centre.

Travelling from Bristol;

Follow A38 (Bristol Airport and Taunton). After 14 miles, go straight through traffic lights at Churchill, go round sharp bend, just after garage turn left for Shipham. Continue through Shipham and down the hill into Cheddar. At the junction, keep the petrol station on your left, taking the A371 to the village centre.
